T-Levels

Join the technical revolution!

T-Levels are the qualifications that everyone is talking about. They’ve rightly been described as ‘revolutionary’ – and the right one could be your path to your dream job!

Having been designed as an exciting alternative to A-Levels, T-Levels combine classroom learning with on-the-job industry experience to ensure you’re set up for a fantastic career trajectory.

We were thrilled to launch our first T-Levels in September 2021. While we initially offered four routes, the courses were so popular that we more than doubled our number of pathways for 2022.

There are now more routes than ever to pick from for 2023. The only question is: which one will you choose?

What are T-Levels?

Delivered over a two-year period, T-Levels provide an excellent alternative to A-Levels and are aimed at 16 to 19-year-olds who would rather study work-related courses than traditional academic subjects.

They were launched to counter the long-held assumption that only A-Levels can lead to a degree and a fulfilling job. However, as a T-Level student you’ll still have the fantastic opportunity to progress to university or higher-level technical qualifications.

What do T-Levels involve?

You’ll spend 80% of your time in the classroom and 20% on an industry placement, giving you the chance to experience a real workplace setting.

The work placement is an integral part of the qualification. You’ll complete a minimum of 315 hours (approximately 45 days) on an industry placement, where your focus will be on developing practical and technical skills.

Transition to T-Level programmes

T-Level transition programmes have been specially developed to get you where you want to be – opening you up to new possibilities and unlocking your route to T-Level success.

If you haven’t quite achieved the grades for your preferred T-Level pathway then the option of a Transition Programme could be perfect for you. The Transition programmes are designed for students who want to do a T-Level but are not quite ready, so that you can begin your qualification feeling confident in what you can achieve!
