Report an Absence

Regular attendance at college is essential, as strong attendance is closely linked to academic success. We understand that occasionally there will be circumstances that might prevent you from attending college. In this event, please contact us to let us know that you’ll be absent from lessons and the reason why. If you are under 18, absences must be reported by a parent, carer or guardian.

To maintain a safe learning environment and adhere to Safeguarding regulations, we require parents, carers, or guardians to confirm all absences for students under the age of 18.

Absences must be reported before 9.30am on the day of your absence. Reports received after then may be recorded as unauthorised.

As a parent, carer or guardian of a current learner, you can stay informed on their attendance through our Parent Portal HERE. If you haven’t registered for our Parent Portal already, please do so to gain access.

Please remember that the best way to get the most of your college experience is to maintain good attendance and continue to complete all set work.
