Short apprenticeship units set to boost workforce development and tackle skills gaps

Hopwood Hall College is excited to announce that we’ll be offering a suite of short apprenticeship units designed to upskill local workforces, including Modern Methods of Construction through Permanent Modular Building Assembly.

These units – part of the government’s recent apprenticeship reforms – will offer employers access to faster and more flexible training routes right here in Rochdale.

We’re proud to share that we’ve been approved to deliver the following units:

  • Electric Vehicle Charging Point Installation and Maintenance
  • Electrical Fitting and Assembly
  • AI Leadership – Strategy and Opportunity
  • AI Leadership – Adoption, Procurement and Governance
  • AI Leadership – Delivery and Organisational Transformation
  • Mechanical Fitting and Assembly
  • Permanent Modular Building Assembly
  • Solar PV Installation and Maintenance

As a college at the forefront of apprenticeship training, we’re thrilled to provide high quality and targeted training for those businesses looking to boost productivity and drive growth.

It promises to be an excellent opportunity for employers to quickly respond to skills gaps and invest in developing their workforce.

In addition, this training can be funded using the Growth and Skills Levy (previously known as the Apprenticeship Levy).
