T-Level - Accounting

The T-level accounting programme is a two-year L3 programme which focuses on developing students understanding of a broad range of issues relevant to the sector including:

Fundamentals of financial accounting

Understanding of elementary financial principles

Concepts and practices and how this content links to relevant accounting

Bookkeeping and business mathematics requirements

Professionalism and ethics- an understanding of professional conduct and responsibilities in the workplace and ethical dilemmas for the individual, organisational and professional

Data driven innovation and analytics and design thinking- an awareness of key requirements of a data governance framework and understand the main contemporary visualisation tools when they are best used to support decision making.

This course is taught at our Middleton campus, located in Middleton, Greater Manchester.

Entry Requirements

To gain a place on the programme you need a minimum of 5 GCSE at grade 4 or above including English and Maths.

Work Experience

Learners will engage with a 45 day minimum placement where they can apply the content and theory they learn within the classroom and apply this within industry practice.
