Choose Your Pathway

Choosing your course is a very exciting process. You’ll make your decision based on factors such as what you’re passionate about, what you’re good at and what you dream of doing for a career.

We offer a wide range of vocational courses at Hopwood Hall. You’ll be perfect for one of our many pathways if you’re the type of person who prefers the more practical elements of learning. As well as time in the classroom, there’ll be plenty of opportunities to hone your skills in settings that mirror work environments.

This includes spaces such as our workshops, salon, media editing suites, art studios, our sports arena and many more areas across college.

Our courses also include work experience opportunities and placements. This means you’ll gain real-world work experience – ultimately giving you that added degree of confidence to enter the workforce upon completion of your course.

Your qualification will prove that you’ve developed important skills and knowledge for your chosen industry. This can then be used to secure employment, become an apprentice or progress to Higher Education.

Our courses range from Level 1 to Level 3, and include T-Levels and BTECs. Level 3 courses take two years and are the equivalent to three A-Levels.

Level 1 and Level 2 courses last one year. They can be the perfect stepping stone for employment, but upon completion of these courses most students choose to progress to the next level until they have gained a coveted Level 3 qualification.

Each level has different entry requirements. We’ll always work alongside you to make sure you’re on the right level and completing a course that will give you the skills and knowledge needed to pursue your chosen career path.
