The Level 2 BTEC Digital Applications course will expose you to the probable day-to-day experiences of a Junior IT Technician in most companies. All students are required to shadow our technician at The Hopwood Hall IT Repair shop. This will ensure that you get hands-on experience of solving hardware, software, and network related problem requested by staff, students and the public.
By completing the BTEC Level 2 Digital Applications course, you should have a strong understanding of the fundamentals of computers and computer Science. This will provide the next step to progress onto a Level 3 T-Level Digital Production, Design and Development programme which leads onto University, or, an apprenticeship as an IT technician, junior software engineer or junior web developer with a local company.
