Our Skills For Life courses are ideal for those learners aged 16-24 who have challenges or barriers to entering education, employment or training. They are designed for students who want to gain qualifications in a mixture of life, vocational and functional skills.
The courses are taught at our Middleton Campus in Greater Manchester. It’s here where you’ll find our Thinc Café, which mirrors a real life café setting where learners can gain skills such as handling money, serving food and providing great customer service.
The courses are taught by our friendly tutors who have years of experience in aiding others in developing the necessary skills needed for a greater degree of independence.
The courses are nationally accredited and offer a variety of learning opportunities, including work placements, sports, trips, visits and the chance to hear from guest speakers. Students will also gain functional skills in English, IT and Maths at an appropriate level.
In addition, learners can also look forward to fun annual events such as a Bake Off and the popular end of year prom.
This incredible 4-day adventure is for young people aged 13-16 aspiring to develop a career working with animals - starts 30th May.
