From Bookkeeping, Costing and Accounting Software to Management Accounting and Tax, you'll study a broad range of topics to add to your skillset and give you an in-depth insight into the industry.
Alongside your studies there's an unmissable opportunity for you to gain substantial work experience in an accounts environment for 1 or 2 days per week in year 1 and 2, helping you to successfully progress into employment.
You will be able to specialise in accountancy through AAT Level 2 and 3 and your qualification is fully accredited by the Association of Accounting Technicians (AAT).
This course is taught at our Middleton campus, located in Middleton, Greater Manchester.
Qualifications
AAT Level 2/3 Accounting Academy
Entry Requirements
5 GCSEs grade C/4 or above to include English and Mathematics.
You will also have had to complete either a BTEC Level 2 qualification, an NVQ Level 2 or VRQ Level 2 to gain the required skills and knowledge to begin the level 3 Diploma.

Work Experience
You will have the opportunity to undertake work experience in an accounts office for two days per week. This is fully supported by the college and allows you to gain valuable experience in a real life accountancy environment.
Progression
Upon completion of this course, you will be able to progress onto higher education or undertake a range of professions including Accounts Assistant, Bookkeeper, Credit Controller and Tax Assistant/Accountant.
