4 GCSEs grade C/4 or above to include English or Mathematics. Alternatively, a relevant BTEC Level 2 Qualification, NVQ Level 2 or VRQ Level 2.
This course has been developed to meet the expanding employment opportunities within the Sports and Fitness industries including: health and fitness facilities, coaching/teaching, professional sport and performance. This course includes a combination of practical and written assignments with no examination. There will be a placement in the second year of the course which you must perform well in as part of the pass criteria.

There is no specific work experience required or undertaken for this course however, you will obtain the skills and knowledge that you need in order to progress into employment in the Sports industry.
Upon completion of this course, you have a number of options to choose from. If you wish to continue your studies, this course provides UCAS points in the range of 120-420, which can help with entry to higher education or provide enough on its own depending on the degree/course chosen and institution. You can enquire about further study to accrue more UCAS points.
