This course is taught at our Rochdale campus, located in Rochdale Town Centre, Greater Manchester.

Entry Requirements

4 GCSEs grade D/3 or above to include English and Maths.

Details

Topics on this course include:

Shampoo and condition the hair and scalp
Client consultation
Cut men's hair
Cut facial hair
Colour and lighten hair
Styling men's hair
Scalp massage
Salon reception duties

The course is a combination of practical and theory and you will be expected to work on live clients.

Work Experience

You will gain meaningful work experience whilst studying alongside the course.

Progression

This qualification gives you the skills and knowledge to work in industry or to progress onto Level 3 Barbering.
