Based at our Middleton campus, our HE courses are perfect for anybody across Greater Manchester looking to improve their qualifications and/or progress into improved employment or a higher university qualification. We offer courses that are both Level 4 and 5 equivalent (a BA Hons at university for example would be a Level 6 qualification).

Apprentices are employees earning a wage and working alongside experienced staff to gain job-specific skills. There are also benefits to the method of learning for many students as an apprenticeship combines practical on-the-job learning with technical education in college too.

BUILD CONFIDENCE IN CORE AREAS | GCSE English & Maths
Year after year, GCSE English and Maths are a popular choice with adult learners. Each course can be taught on its own or together and is taught as a one year part-time course. Perfect if you have been out of education for a while and would like another opportunity to take the course to boost your career prospects.
Success at this level is a great confidence builder and has led to improved employment prospects and further study for past students. Classes are small and the atmosphere is friendly and supportive.
Garry Rudman, Head of Maths said: "If you found Maths difficult at school, it could be just that the methods you were taught didn't really work for you. By coming along to Hopwood Hall College and learning new methods, different approaches, new ways of doing things and looking at things, it might work better for you”.
