This course is taught at our Rochdale campus, located in Rochdale Town Centre, Greater Manchester.
Entry Requirements
A minimum of 4 GCSEs at grade C/4 or above are needed to begin this course, and this needs to include English and Maths.
Alternative entry requirements to the GCSEs include the CACHE Level 2 Certificate, BTEC Level 2 qualification, NVQ Level 2 or VRQ Level 2.

You will complete 100/200 hours per year depending on the course level.
The first placement will be allocated to you in your first term. You will be visited at your placement by a member of staff.
As part of your work placement, the College will support you in completing a DBS application.
Progression
On completion of the course you can progress onto a level 5 Diploma in Leadership for Health and Social Care, an HNC or they can go into employment with possible careers such as: Health Professional, Home Carer, Health Care Assistant, Care Assistant, Senior Carers, Support Worker, Auxiliary Nurse, Personal Assistant, Paramedic, Occupational Therapist.
