Immediate entry to our one-year Level 3 Access to HE Diplomas - offering the quickest route to university - is open to students who have already attained sufficient GCSE qualifications (Grade 4/C or above in English and Maths).
It is preferred that you have these qualifications prior to starting your Level 3 Access Diploma as the skills you will have gained from studying these qualifications will really help you on this programme.
All applicants will have the opportunity to discuss their application in an interview with one of our tutors, where any questions about the course will be addressed. Additionally, you will complete an English and Maths assessment to assess your readiness for Level 3 study. Depending on the results, you may also have the opportunity to retake either a Maths or English GCSE alongside this course*.
*Please note, it will not be possible to retake both English and Maths GCSE alongside your Access to HE programme.

No work experience is required to for this qualification.
The Access to HE Diploma offers students a way to gain the qualifications needed to enter Higher Education and gain a degree, continuing to their chosen career. The topics studied are fully aligned with psychology degree modules required for recognition by the British Psychological Society.
Students achieving the Psychology and Mental Health Diploma can progress to a variety of degree courses and careers, from psychology and counselling degrees to careers in health care, occupational and educational psychology, the police, teaching, human resources, management, and many more.
