CENWAT Domestic Central Heating Boilers & Water Heaters
The ACS CENWAT course is designed to assess and certify the safety competence of gas engineers working with domestic central heating boilers and water heaters up to 70kW. This qualification ensures engineers can safely install, service, and maintain a range of heating and water heating systems commonly used in domestic properties.

Course Content:
This course covers the following key areas:
- Boilers: Central heating, combination boilers, and storage water heaters.
- Flue Systems: Open, balanced, natural draught, and fan-assisted systems.
- Controls: Boiler controls, external controls such as S and Y plans, and wireless controls.
- Ventilation and Pipe Sizing
- Fault Diagnosis and Repair
- Commissioning: Installation and commissioning of boilers and heater systems.
- Servicing and Maintenance
