This course covers the following key areas:

  • Open Flued Gas Fires: Radiant/convector gas fires.
  • Inset Live Fuel Effect Gas Fires (ILFE): Open-flued gas fires.
  • Decorative Fuel Effect Gas Fires (DFE): Open-flued models.
  • Balanced Flued Gas Fires and Wall Heaters: Including fan-assisted models.
  • Service and Maintenance: Techniques for maintaining and servicing gas-fired appliances.
  • Installation and Commissioning: Procedures for installing and commissioning gas fires and wall heaters.
  • Fault Diagnosis and Repair: Identifying and fixing issues with gas appliances.
  • Safety Protocols: Ensuring work is carried out safely and in compliance with gas safety regulations.
