Hopwood Hall College employs approximately 450 staff in both teaching and learning and support services. Staff are based at either our Middleton or Rochdale campus.

Multi Skilled Facilities Operative
The College is looking to employ a Multi Skilled Facilities Operative to carry out a variety of day to day repairs / minor works across the College campuses. The person should be semi-skilled with a good background knowledge of building maintenance and ideally have a trade qualification. Closing date: 28th February 2020

Learning Support Officer
The College is seeking a Learning Support Officer, working 30 hours per week, Term Time Only, 40 weeks per year. As a Learning Support Officer you will be a key member of the Learning Support Team, providing person-centered support to students with additional needs, with an Education, Health and Care (EHC) plan, and key point of contact between curriculum areas and the Learning Support Team. We are seeking an experienced, dynamic and hands-on Health and Social Care Lecturer with a nursing qualification/background. The role will contribute to programme delivery across different levels on programmes offered by the Department. You will be working with a diverse learner population and be expected to demonstrate excellent classroom management techniques in a fast paced environment, whilst teaching a range of topics such as Anatomy and Physiology, Human Inheritance, and Physiological Disorders. The ideal candidate will hold or be working towards a professional teaching qualification and have delivery experience and a passion for implementing innovative, interactive sessions to provide support, inspiration and guidance to our learners. Work Based Tutor - Electrical Installation
The Work Based Tutor will train apprentices across a wide range of skills, knowledge and behaviors to enable them to pass the End Point Assessment. The tutor will develop and deliver highly inspirational teaching and training resources and will be expected to facilitate a structured learning programme, providing feedback during formative assessment periods.

Engagement Officer
Central to this role is driving engagement with pupils, parents, teachers and community groups and learners of all ages. This will suit somebody with strong presentation skills and the ability to build rapport and inspire people from all backgrounds. You will focus on growing interest in and awareness of our full range of courses and on developing excellent relationships with schools and key partners in the community. Working as an integral part of the College Marketing Team, you will help to organise and deliver key recruitment events to ensure to help drive student recruitment. Experience of engaging and inspiring audiences in an educational and/or community setting will be particularly useful.
Senior Catering Technician
Hopwood Hall is seeking to recruit a Senior Technician to contribute to the catering team. The Senior Technician will combine strong technical skills with a customer focused approach to service delivery and learner support. Closing date: 24th February 2020
Lecturer - Science
We are looking for a science lecturer who is familiar with BTEC programmes, with particular experience of delivering the 2016 BTEC National RQF specifications. This would allow for candidates to be best placed for the possibility of T-Level delivery in the future. Closing date: 20th February 2020
Senior Gym Instructor
We are seeking to appoint a Senior Gym Instructor who will be a senior member amongst the team of Gym Instructors. The suitable candidate will have the relevant skills and/or experience to maintain the sports arena facilities. Working in a small team, the Senior Gym Instructor will perform acting duty supervisory duties when the Sports Arena Manager and Supervisor are not on shift. Closing Date: 1st March 2020
