Hopwood Hall College employs approximately 600 staff in both teaching and learning and support services. Staff are based at either our Middleton or Rochdale campus.

Hopwood Hall College are looking to employ an experienced Communication Support Worker on a fixed term basis covering maternity leave to join the support team and provide support for deaf/hearing impaired learners with their studies. Closing Date: 7th December 2022
Behaviour Support Assistant (x2 positions)
We are expanding our Behaviour Support Team in order to further improve educational outcomes for students who may be struggling with social, emotional and behavioural difficulties. Working within the Safeguarding and Wellbeing team you will have a passion for making a difference and improving the lives of young people. In this his challenging but rewarding role you will work alongside teaching staff in the classroom environment, with groups of students encouraging positive behaviour and engagement in all areas of their study program and college life. Work Based Tutor - Engineering
The Work Based Tutor will train our Engineering apprentices across a wide range of skills, knowledge and behaviours to enable competency and success in passing the End Point Assessment. You will work closely with curriculum lecturers to successfully delivery the knowledge component, and will develop and deliver highly inspirational training resources. It is the WBT's responsibility to monitor and support all components of the apprenticeship standard including off the job learning and functional skills. Closing Date: 3rd January 2023

Work Based Tutor - Plumbing
We require an industry experienced Plumbing Engineer to join our successful team as a Work Based Tutor. Your role will be to train apprentices across a wide range of skills, knowledge and behaviours to enable competency and success in passing the End Point Assessment, where you will work closely with curriculum lecturers to successfully delivery the knowledge component. Develop and deliver highly inspirational training resources that will support a structured learning programme. You will monitor progress of the apprentice in line with qualification requirements and will be responsible for regular liaison with employers. It is the WBT's responsibility to monitor and support all components of the apprenticeship standard including off the job learning and functional skills. If you are passionate about your specialist subject and sharing your knowledge, skills and experience and have the enthusiasm to support apprentices then come and join the Hopwood Hall College team. Work Based Tutor - Business Administration
We are looking for a part time Work Based Tutor to join our team, where you will carry out training and learning assessments for Apprentices to enable successful and timely achievement, monitor progress of the apprentice in line with qualification requirements, and will be responsible for regular liaison with employers and tutors. The role will include effective instruction, guidance and support to the learners doing our Business Administration apprenticeships. Closing Date: 3rd January 2023
