This is a unique opportunity in a brand new role in the Safeguarding, Pastoral and Welfare Team. Responsible for developing and implementing an outstanding Personal Development Program that supports our learners to develop confidence and resilience, equipping them to be responsible, respectful and active citizens. Successful applicants will have a an up to date knowledge of current safety and wellbeing themes and experience of delivering these topics to young people. You will be able support and train our Progress Tutors to enable them to provide and outstanding delivery of this program. We are seeking an experienced, dynamic and hands-on Health and Social Care Lecturer with a nursing qualification/background. The role will contribute to programme delivery across different levels on programmes offered by the Department. You will be working with a diverse learner population and be expected to demonstrate excellent classroom management techniques in a fast paced environment, whilst teaching a range of topics such as Anatomy and Physiology, Human Inheritance, and Physiological Disorders. The ideal candidate will hold or be working towards a professional teaching qualification and have delivery experience and a passion for implementing innovative, interactive sessions to provide support, inspiration and guidance to our learners. The College requires two Learning Support Coordinator’s to support the Learning Support Manger in line managing and deploying a team of Learning Support Assistants and organizing the recruitment, induction and training of staff. They will oversee timetabling of staff to assist students who have been identified as benefiting from in-class and examination support due to a Special Educational Need and/or Disability.
