Programme Manager - Maths
We are seeking to appoint an aspirational Programme Manager for Maths to lead the college's maths provision. This is a pivotal role in our college and the successful applicant will be responsible for the continuous and sustainable improvement of teaching and learning, progress, and learner outcomes within the Maths department. This role is instrumental to the college and its primary purpose is to be an inspirational leader of the Maths department across both our campuses; lead their growth, development and organisation; ensure the progress and achievement of learners; and the effective deployment and performance of staff. The college has been successful in securing the maths innovation fund and this role is an exciting opportunity to be influential in the success of this. As the Programme Manager you will develop the curriculum plan to ensure it is future focussed, cost effective, responsive to labour market information and GM priorities, in order to meet the needs of learners and employers. Lead and encourage innovation in curriculum design for both GCSE and higher level maths delivery to ensure that learners are inspired, engaged and prepared for the world of work. You will promote inspiring teaching, learning and assessment opportunities across the curriculum area which deliver year on year improvements in learner retention, attendance, success, value added, progression, work experience and outcome. We are looking for an individual who has positive commitment to inclusive learning, a team player who is able to lead and motivate others, drive, commitment and enthusiasm to ensure the Maths department reaches its full potential. We are looking for someone who has good knowledge of the different requirements in terms of Maths in relation to the different provision the college provides such as Study Programmes, Adult and Apprenticeships to ensure we are offering quality education that meets the learners’ needs and supports them to achieve their full potential. Multi Skilled Facilities Operative
The College is looking to employ a Multi Skilled Facilities Operative to carry out a variety of day to day repairs / minor works across the College campuses. The person should be semi-skilled with a good background knowledge of building maintenance and ideally have a trade qualification. Closing date: 6th April 2020

Lecturer - Electrical Installation
We are seeking to appoint a Lecturer within our Electrical Installation department, working in our state of the arts technology center; on a full time, permanent basis. The ideal candidate will have the ability to motivate and engage learners, delivering using the experience and background knowledge of the electrical installation industry. Work Based Tutor - AAT
The Work Based Tutor will train apprentices across a wide range of skills, knowledge and behaviors to enable them to pass the End Point Assessment. The tutor will develop and deliver highly inspirational teaching and training resources and will be expected to facilitate a structured learning programme, providing feedback during formative assessment periods.
Senior Gym Instructor
We are seeking to appoint a Senior Gym Instructor who will be a senior member amongst the team of Gym Instructors. The suitable candidate will have the relevant skills and/or experience to maintain the sports arena facilities. Working in a small team, the Senior Gym Instructor will perform acting duty supervisory duties when the Sports Arena Manager and Supervisor are not on shift. Closing Date: 6th April 2020
The College seeks to provide an enhanced student safety service with 2 new roles. The key purpose of the role is to protect all of the college’s learners and staff as well as supporting business continuity management. Maintaining the welfare of all persons on-site by preventing unauthorised access and managing difficult situations, such as student behaviour.
