Lecturer - Multi-Skilled Construction
We are seeking to appoint an outstanding lecturer in multi-skilled construction to deliver our courses across levels 1-3 in our state of the arts technology centre. The role is a full time, permanent position and we would be looking for somebody with a range of skills in plumbing, brickwork, plastering, painting and decorating, carpentry and joinery and security and alarms. Student Support Tutor
The College is looking for a strong individual in delivering group tutorials on a range of topics to 16-19. They should have high standards in supporting a cohort of learners with attendance and retention; supporting progression by conducting Reviews and 1:1 sessions. The suitable candidate would take on responsibility for the pastoral and welfare of students and be the first point of contact for any safeguarding concerns. iLearn Coach (Part Time)
The iLearn Centre at Hopwood Hall College is looking for a dynamic and enthusiastic iLearn Coach to join our successful team. The role is 14hrs per week and permanent. You will be responsible for facilitating online learning sessions, delivering information training sessions, participating in the day to day running of the library service, assisting in the acquisitions and administration of materials and taking an active role in promoting the iLearn Centre. Lecturer - Mechanical Engineering
We are currently seeking a full-time lecturer in mechanical engineering & fabrication. Industrial experience is essential and experience in CAD would be desirable. The right candidates must be competent in the delivery of practical based lessons and BTEC Extended Diploma. They should have a Technical Certificate to Level 3 standard and have a Teaching Qualification or willing to work towards such qualifications. Closing Date: 21st November 2018, 09:00am
Lecturer - Games Development
The College is seeking a well-motivated, enthusiastic, experienced Lecturer who is able to deliver effective, inspirational teaching and learning across a range of Games courses at FE and HE. You will carry out appropriate assessment activities including marking student work, designing and setting assessments and producing learning resources for a virtual learning environment and would also be expected to engage in enterprise and recruitment activities with local schools and the community. Areas of specific expertise to include practical games development techniques. The ideal candidate will hold a minimum of an undergraduate degree in an appropriate subject, together with a teaching qualification, for example CertEd or PGCE. Learning Support Officer
The College is seeking a Learning Support Officer, working 30 hours per week, Term Time Only, 40 weeks per year. As a Learning Support Officer you will be a key member of the Learning Support Team, providing person-centred support to students with additional needs, with an Education, Health and Care (EHC) plan, and key point of contact between curriculum areas and the Learning Support Team.
