The Student Safety Team’s key purpose is to keep learners and staff safe, promoting inclusion and a positive culture ensuring learners are supported to stay in college and achieve. The team consists of 5 Officers and a Behaviour Team leader and is part of the Safeguarding and Welfare team, you will work closely with teaching staff and other support staff providing support and guidance. The role is over both campuses and includes incident management support, First Aid and Mental Health First Aid response. You will provide high quality customer service in relation to campus safety to keep our campus a safe place to work and learn. The role will require you to work to the College values, with integrity, ambition and be proactive and responsive to learner and college needs. Closing date: 2nd November 2021
Lecturer - Engineering (Mechanical)
We are looking for a full time Engineering lecturer to join our team based in our state-of-the-art technology centre at Middleton campus. In addition to planning and delivering within our existing provision of BTEC and City and Guilds Engineering at all levels, with a particular emphasis in the Mechanical Engineering specialism, you will be invited to take an active part in the development of the engineering curriculum to providing quality engineering programmes in conjunction with modern industry and advanced manufacturing techniques, including the development of T-Level in Engineering. Invigilator / Reader & Scribe
We are looking for Examination Invigilators to join our team. You will work as part of a team of invigilators who will ensure exams are carried out according to the regulatory guidelines. Previous school and exams experience is preferred although not essential as training will be provided. This is an exciting new opportunity to join our Safeguarding, Welfare and Pastoral team in a newly created role to enhance and develop the support for our Care Experienced students. The successful candidates will be able to work successfully with Care Experienced students (Looked After Children and Care Leavers) to help them overcome barriers to learning to increase attendance and enhance outcomes. You will have the ability to inspire and motivate young people in 1-1s and small groups, think creatively to enhance student voice and be flexible in meeting their educational needs. You will have excellent communication skills and be able to work in a team, with curriculum staff and external support services. We are very excited about this role and to be able to build on the foundations already in place. These posts are funded through the DfE’s new post 16 funding project and the College will be working closely with Rochdale Borough Council in overseeing, sharing our experiences and developing the work going forward. Admissions and Enrolment Officer
This role is based within the Student & College Services team (Rochdale), based in receptions and the Senior Leadership team office. The successful candidate will be required to think on their feet, have a good eye for detail and also be on hand to support the wider team when required. The majority of the role will be taken up with dealing with prospective learners applications, checking data and working with curriculum teams regarding outcomes. Closing date: 11th October 2021

Exams Assistant
Hopwood Hall College are looking to recruit an Exams Assistant to be a vital part of the Exams team supporting all aspects of the examinations administration process. You will carry out a wide range of tasks, including setting up and checking examination packs; processing scripts; invigilation; data input of exam entries and achievement data and dealing with student queries. Ideally you will also have some experience of working in examinations in FE / educational environment. You will be required to work at both our Middleton and Rochdale campuses so access to transport would be an advantage. Closing date: 17th October 2021
We are seeking to appoint an aspirational Programme Manager for Business, Accounts and IT. This is a pivotal role in our college and the successful applicant will be responsible for the continuous and sustainable improvement of teaching and learning, progress, and learner outcomes within the BIT department. This role is instrumental to the college and its primary purpose is to be an inspirational leader of the BIT department across both our campuses.
Assistant Chef
Hopwood Hall College are looking to recruit an Assistant Chef who will be able to assist the Head Chef in the preparation and presentation of all meals. The Assistant Chef will prepare fresh food and replenish food items during busy service times. We are looking for someone who can maintain an organised and clean working environment, working within all FSA regulations. Monitoring of portions and waste control will be included as well as assisting with the supervision of students at College on work experience. Closing date: 12th October 2021
Progress Tutor - Life Sciences
An exciting opportunity has arisen for a Progress Tutor to join the Life Sciences department. The post is based in at the Middleton campus but flexibility to work in other departments and travel to the other college site is required of the successful candidate.
