MIS Officer
We have an exciting opportunity for an MIS Officer to join the college's MIS and Exams Team. The role is to provide an information and data analysis service by supporting and improving processes around data capture, analysis and the production of statistical performance, ensuring timely and accurate production of management information. You will be required to collate, manage and analyse data from various teams and services across the college, as well as subsequent production of information reports for the purpose of service performance and the improvement of outcomes for all learners. You will be proficient in the use and understanding of IT, Information Management and data protection legislation. The successful candidate will be a committed team player with excellent organisational and specialist technical skills and a willingness to further develop these skills. Closing Date:31st August 2022
Barbering Salon Instructor
We are looking for a barbering salon instructor to join our dynamic hair and beauty team, on a part-time basis for 10 hours a week. You will need to be at least level 3 qualified, and you will be required to assess, mentor and be a role model to our learners, helping them to prepare for industry. You need to have commercial experience and have extensive knowledge of the subject area and be passionate about the barbering industry. Experience of assessing and being familiar with awarding body standards is also an advantage. You must have a positive can-do attitude and be able to motivate and inspire learners. Invigilator / Reader & Scribe
We are looking for Examination Invigilators to join our team. You will work as part of a team of invigilators who will ensure exams are carried out according to the regulatory guidelines. Previous school and exams experience is preferred although not essential as training will be provided. The Exam Invigilator roles are fantastic for candidates looking for part-time and flexible work to fit around other commitments.
We are recruiting Learning Support Assistants on 25 hour contracts. The post holder will be required to meet the needs of learners with identified Learning Difficulties and / or Disabilities including in class and out of class support to remove barriers to accessing learning and participation. Head Catering Technician
The hospitality and catering department are looking to recruit a head technician to join the team and to work closely with the chef lecturers to ensure catering lessons run smoothly and efficiently. The ideal candidate will be familiar with HACCAP and should have a level 2 Food hygiene qualification, Level 2 Health and Safety qualification and up-to-date allergen training (or be prepared to work towards). Experience of working in the hospitality sector and experience of managing stock control is also an advantage. The iLearn Centre at Hopwood Hall College is looking for a dynamic and enthusiastic LRC Facilitator to join our successful team. You will be responsible for delivering information training sessions, participating in the day to day running of the library service, assisting in the acquisitions and administration of materials and taking an active role in promoting the centre services and resources. We welcome applicants who have experience in supporting teaching and learning or in a customer-focused environment. Applicants must have excellent team collaboration skills and an outgoing and friendly attitude to working with young adults. Student Safety Assistant
The College seeks to provide an enhanced student safety service, with key purpose of the role is to protect all of the colleges learners and staff as well as supporting business continuity management. This involves: sweeping & mopping floors, wiping & dusting down, experienced in using cleaning machinery, and cleaning down washroom facilities. Furniture removal will be required from time to time.
