Learning Support Assistant
We are recruiting Learning Support Assistant's on 16 hour contracts. The post holder will be required to meet the needs of learners with identified Learning Difficulties and / or Disabilities including in class and out of class support to remove barriers to accessing learning and participation.
Work Based Tutor - Electrical Installation
The Work Based Tutor will train apprentices across a wide range of skills, knowledge and behaviors to enable them to pass the End Point Assessment. Exams Assistant
To be part of the Examinations team of staff providing services to all customers (both internal and external) To carry out the Registration of Learners with Awarding bodies, arranging Examinations (both online and paper based), arranging rooms and invigilators, dealing with data changes and updates, and ensure Qualification Achievement and claims are processed within the college guidelines. To work with the MIS & Exams Manager in developing and maintaining high levels of customer service and responsiveness through all aspects of examinations provision. To assist in the preparation of data for external and internal reporting requirements. To compile and input examination entries, exams timetabling, accommodation, concession and results data, and distribute / publish to relevant parties (including examining bodies, learners, colleagues and others.) To ensure personal compliance with relevant policies and procedures and to make suggestions around service improvements based on individual experience of issues which arise during the performance of duties. Engagement Officer
Central to this role is driving engagement with pupils, parents, teachers and community groups and learners of all ages. This will suit somebody with strong presentation skills and the ability to build rapport and inspire people from all backgrounds. You will focus on growing interest in and awareness of our full range of courses and on developing excellent relationships with schools and key partners in the community. Working as an integral part of the College Marketing Team, you will help to organise and deliver key recruitment events to ensure to help drive student recruitment. Experience of engaging and inspiring audiences in an educational and/or community setting will be particularly useful.
Marketing Officer
If you have experience in marketing, digital marketing, copy writing and content creation then this role could be the perfect opportunity for you. Wordsmiths and creative thinkers welcome! Working as part of the College’s Marketing Team you will play a key part in the planning, development and delivery of the College’s student recruitment marketing service. Delivering high quality marketing collateral and building relationships will be key to your success. Knowledge of the issues affecting young people in education would be helpful but most important is the ability to communicate with learners of all ages, strong working knowledge of social channels and experience of content management systems.
Head of Facilities & Risk Management
We are seeking an experienced, dynamic and hands-on Head of Facilities & Risk to manage the running of our facilities in order to create an inspirational learning environment for our current and future learners which is fit for purpose, safe and delivered efficiently. An excellent leader and manager who possesses strong communication skills to motivate multiple teams including facilities, security, cleaning and health and safety. The college has just launched an ambitious £20m Estates Strategy and therefore the ideal candidate will have experience of overseeing medium to large capital projects and possess strong contract and project management skills. Communications Officer
We are looking for an energetic, self-starting Communications Officer to join our team. Developing and delivering a professional 360˚ communications service for the College and its ancillary operations is central to this role. This position is based in the College's busy Student & College Services team, duties include course enquires, dealing with applications to courses and enrollment, receptions, administrative support and financial support.
