Immediate entry to our one-year Level 3 Access to HE Diplomas - offering the quickest route to university - is open to students who have already attained sufficient GCSE qualifications (Grade 4/C or above in English and Maths - it is advisiable to also have Science GCSE).
It is preferred that you have these qualifications prior to starting your Level 3 Access Diploma as the skills you will have gained from studying these qualifications will really help you on this programme.
All applicants will have the opportunity to discuss their application in an interview with one of our tutors, where any questions about the course will be addressed. Additionally, you will complete an English and Maths assessment to assess your readiness for Level 3 study. Depending on the results, you may also have the opportunity to retake either a Maths or English GCSE alongside this course*.
*Please note, it will not be possible to retake both English and Maths GCSE alongside your Access to HE programme.
At the beginning of your course, you will be automatically enrolled in mandatory units totalling 60 credits.

A work placement may be required for your course. If this is the case, the College will support you in completing a DBS application.
Access to Higher Education courses are designed for students who want a fast track route to university or to progress into careers and vocations that require higher level qualifications.
