Steve Taylor

Steve is currently the Chief Officer for Rochdale Infirmary, The Royal Oldham Hospital and Heywood, Middleton and Rochdale Local Care Organisation. Having worked in Healthcare for over 30 years in both clinical and managerial positions, Steve remains very committed to health and social care improvements in the boroughs of Rochdale and Oldham. He attended Rochdale College for two years as a student before starting his career in Healthcare.

Steve was appointed as an Independent Member of the Corporation Board on 25th February 2016 and has been for 9 years. Steve is currently the Safeguarding Lead Governor for Hopwood Hall College.

His ambition for the College is for it to develop further, connecting with our local communities, linking in with local employers and providing students with education and support that leads to employment and improved life chances.
