Our Sports Park and Arena are two state-of-the-art fitness facilities located at our Middleton Campus. They feature a growing schedule of activities to meet the needs of different visitors.

Opening times

• Monday: 7.15am – 9pm*
• Tuesday: 7.15am – 9pm
• Wednesday: 7.15am – 9pm
• Thursday: 7.15am – 9pm
• Friday: 7.15am – 9pm
• Saturday: 9am – 4pm
• Sunday: 9am – 4pm

*Please note that the Sports Arena is closed on Bank Holidays.

Sports Park facilities

Our Sports Park is the name of our playing pitches, starting first of all with our fully floodlit, third generation, all-weather astroturf. We also have four grass playing pitches and two rugby pitches that are often used for matches by local teams.

These spaces are ideal for keeping fit and holding organised sporting events.

Sports Arena facilities

Our Sports Arena features our gym, our Sports Hall. This epic space can be turned into two full five-a-side areas, as well as courts to play sports such as basketball, volleyball, netball and badminton.

What’s on at the Arena?

Venue Hire

We’re delighted to allow the public to hire facilities for private purposes. Whether you want to host a party, hold a charity event or reserve a pitch for a sporting group, we’re always happy receive requests and have special rates just for our community.

Block Bookings Cancellation Policy 

All block bookings are for a minimum of 10 weeks. ONLY one cancellation can be allocated within any block of 10 without incurring costs. Any cancellation not received within the allocated time, the Sports Arena reserves the right to impose a full charge.
