4 GCSEs grade C/4 or above to include English and Mathematics.
BTEC Level 2 qualifications, NVQ Level 2 or VRQ Level 2 qualifications are also accepted.
If you have not attained GCSE grades 4-9 in English and Maths, you will automatically be enrolled in classes to work towards these qualifications at an appropriate level to suit your ability.
This course is taught by a mix of classroom teaching, practical group sessions and projects to demonstrate understanding of key travel and tourism principles.

Level 3 students are given the unique opportunity to attend the Thomas Cook Cabin Training Centre at Manchester Airport as part of their course. Other day trips are organised during the year, with previous tourism areas visited including York, Blackpool and the Yorkshire Dales.
Upon completion of this course, you will be able to progress onto higher education or undertake a range of professions including: Event's Organiser, Hospitality, Marketing, Customer Service, Overseas Resort Representative, Tour and Cruise Operators, and Airport/Airline Personnel.
