Entry Requirements
4 GCSEs grade D/3 or above preferably to include English and Maths.
If you have not attained GCSE grades 4-9 in English and Maths, you will automatically be enrolled in classes to work towards these qualifications at an appropriate level to suit your ability.
Details
This course is taught by a mix of classroom teaching, practical group sessions and projects to demonstrate understanding of key travel and tourism principles.

Work Experience
There are no work experience placements on Level 2. Work experience takes place in the second year of the Level 3 Extended Diploma. Day trips are organised during the year, with previous tourism areas visited including York, Blackpool and the Yorkshire Dales.
Progression
Upon completion of this course, you will have the option to progress onto the Level 3 Extended Diploma in Travel & Tourism / BTEC Diploma in Travel and Tourism (with Cabin Crew and Travel Services) or continue in employment.
