Hairdressing - Level 3 Certificate

Today the hairdressing industry is a mutli-billion pound business with the growth of disposable income, the influence of fashion and the desire to look younger. There are a vast amount of job opportunities both in the UK and worldwide for fully trained individuals. This course is designed for those who want to work within the hairdressing industry and covers a range of topics to give students a good practical understanding of all hairdressing techniques. Those studying at Level 3 will also complete courses in men's' hair to enable them to develop skills in barbering techniques.

Entry Requirements

This course requires you to have a minimum of Level 2 ESOL English or GCSE grade 4 in English and a relevant level 2 qualification in Hairdressing.

Details

This course will prepare you with the knowledge and practical skills in colour correction techniques, styling, cutting and finishing the hair to a level 3 standard.

Work Experience

Work experience is not mandatory, but a placement in a hair salon would support your learning and help to improve skills and confidence.

Progression

Upon completion of this course, students have the option to progress onto further training or find employment as a Hairdresser.
