Functional Skills
Our Centre for English and Maths is here to help you gain the essential skills needed to get to where they want to be. Due to this, there’s no need to worry if you don’t currently have the right qualifications because you’re just one course away from attaining them.
We provide courses for adults age 19+. The first step is to register your interest in studying English, Maths or both. A member of the team will then be in touch with you to arrange for you to take an assessment.
There is no need to worry about this assessment. It is simply designed to give us an understanding on your current skills so that we can ensure that you are placed on the course that best suits your learning needs. This could either be at Functional Skills level or GCSE level.
If you haven’t already achieved a grade C/4 at GCSE then your course will be FREE. In addition, you will typically have the option to choose between daytime or evening classes.
We offer Functional Skills Maths, Functional Skills English, GCSE Maths and GCSE English at our campus in Rochdale, Greater Manchester.
