Moving and Assisting People, and Moving and Handling Objects in a Health and Social Care Setting

When working in social care it's essential to know how to help assist and move people in your care and other objects such as equipment. This session will help discover the correct way to move and handle individuals and required equipment safely as well as understanding the relevant legislations, guidelines, and procedures to help minimise risks.

Work Experience

A work placement may be required for your course. If this is the case, the College will support you in completing a DBS application.
