Hopwood Hall College’s annual Community Fun Day is back – and the whole family is invited!
The college will once again throw open its doors when it holds this much-loved free event at its Middleton Campus between 11am and 3pm on Saturday 21st June.
Visitors of all ages are encouraged to attend, with a whole host of activities and games to enjoy.
This includes popular animal interaction sessions where people can experience some of the weird and wonderful wildlife that’s homed at the college.
In addition, there are loads of action-packed activities for visitors to take part in or simply watch from the sidelines.
Pulses are set to be racing when visitors get stuck into challenges such as jiu-jitsu, crazy golf, penalty shootouts and other sports activities.
There are also some quirkier activities on the line-up such as hula hooping, calligraphy virtual reality demos and a radio controlled F1 track.
This, of course, is in addition to many old favourites such as face painting, quizzes, competitions and live music.
Hopwood’s Middleton Campus is surrounded by 70-acres of woodland and makes for the perfect place to hold such an event.
There will be free parking offered on the day, but it will be limited so anyone looking to drive is encouraged to arrive early.
However, there are also numerous public transport links that make the campus easy to get to.
The Community Fun Day is free to all and promises to be the ultimate family day out.
Last year’s event saw people coming from all across Rochdale and neighbouring boroughs to experience the fun during a gloriously sunny day.
