Our Call It Out campaign has been running since July 2024 and has helped to generate unity across our communities and the associated activities and training that’s taken place as part of this campaign has all served to reinforce this powerful message of unity. This has helped to create a college environment which is inclusive, diverse and multi-cultural, where refugees feel welcome and safe and where all learners feel empowered to make a difference and call out racist and divisive behaviour. 

Our whole college approach to this ‘Call It Out’ campaign has helped to ensure that Hopwood is a place where learners feel united against hate. 

Raising awareness of the vital importance of supporting each other to call out intolerance and hate in this way empowers our students and helps changes behaviour, helping to create a community united against hate.
