Entry Requirements
UCAS Tariff: 80 Points
English Language and mathematics at GCSE grade 4/C or above is also required for entry to this course. Functional Skills Level 2 qualifications are also accepted.
Details
The units offered cover a range of computer-related skills the core units studied are:
• Programming
• Networking
• Professional Practice
• Database Design & Development
• Security
• Managing a Successful Computing Project
• Computer Systems Architecture
• Computing Research Project
• Business Intelligence
In addition to the core units the course will also include five optional units.
The course is delivered through a combination of lectures, tutorials and E-learning.
This qualification givesyoueligibility for membership of the British Computing Society as an associate member on completion of the course.

With additional experience and training, it can also support you to pursue digital roles such as artificial intelligence architect, web developer, growth hacker and cloud specialist.
