College teams with local business to kit out next generation

Hopwood Hall College has partnered with a growing Rochdale-based business to give students a brand new look for the new academic year.

ICON Sports, which manufactures custom sportswear and workwear, has worked closely with the college on the dazzling new designs.

Students across both campuses are now proudly wearing the attire as they sink their teeth into the first term.

In some cases, the tutors are also sporting the branded workwear – such as those who teach in the college’s Advanced Manufacturing and Technology Centre.

The uniforms have been chosen to give learners a professional edge as they study a range of vocational qualifications, such as T Levels.

The reaction has been overwhelmingly positive from students of all ages.

Hopwood Hall chose to partner with ICON following a thorough procurement and evaluation process, with the company’s Rochdale base an important factor.

This means the college can work with a trusted supplier while also supporting the local economy and providing an excellent service for students.
