Understand the requirements in relation to the responsibility for the limitation of false alarms and unwanted fire alarm signals.
Understand the requirements of BS 5839-1 in relation to the installation of fire detection and fire alarm systems.
Understand the requirements of BS 5839-1 in relation to the commissioning and handover of fire detection and fire alarm systems.
Understand the requirements of BS 5839-1 in relation to the maintenance of fire detection and fire alarm systems.
Understand the requirements of BS 5839-1 in relation to the user’s responsibilities for fire detection and fire alarm systems.
Understand the information contained within the annexes of BS 5839-1.
