College offers free online courses to help people #KeepConnected during COVID-19 outbreak

Hopwood Hall College is offering all people aged 19 to 99+ the opportunity to complete a free online course.

Those who take up the amazing offer will be able to choose a course from more than 20 subjects areas that are suitable for learners from all different backgrounds during the coronavirus outbreak.

The subjects, which are packed full of bite-sized information, are designed to be completed at home – making it a fantastic way to #KeepConnected while self-isolating and social distancing.

Amongst the diverse range of options include courses in Microsoft Office, Understanding Autism, and Managing Remote Teams.

The subjects fall into two groups: personal and professional development.

Those who go down one of the personal routes can expect a greater understanding of people and the community, whereas the professional paths can lead to greater career prospects.

No previous qualifications are necessary and upon completion each individual will receive a virtual certificate that they will be able to download immediately.

Julia Heap, Principal and CEO of Hopwood Hall College, said:

“A free online course offers a brilliant opportunity for people to keep connected and grow during these uncertain times.

“They are perfect for learning and developing new skills, as well as a fantastic way to stay productive and push your boundaries.

“At the College, we are committed to bringing out the best in our students – and we’re confident that these online courses can also help the wider community to reach their full potential.”
