The Riverside Restaurant menu consists of dishes made from seasonal ingredients and local suppliers to promote sustainability and support businesses in the area.
You’ll find home-grown vegetables in some of our dishes so rest assured knowing you are eating as locally as possible as we are committed to reducing food miles and serving high quality, fresh and seasonal produce.
Our work with local producers and suppliers ensures we have the best quality local ingredients from the Pennine areas including fine cheeses, meats, seafood, fruit and vegetables – including those grown at our Middleton campus, which will be served when available as part of our daily specials!
Our full modern British cuisine is available Tuesday-Thursdays in term time although our Theme Nights on some dates may replace these menus temporarily. Lunch is table du hôte, however lighter options are available at all times from the menus available.
We have some sample Riverside menus below but if you want to know more about what is available closer to your visit, feel free to contact us. Some items will be on rotation, such as options from the Grill, and certain meals need to be ordered at least a week in advance, such as lobsters and oysters, to ensure we have the freshest ingredients and deliver the best experience.
