Course Description

This three week course will provide a basic introduction to the role of the Supervisor in relation to Food Safety. We will cover topics including compliance with food safety legislation, the application and monitoring of good hygiene practice, how to implement food safety management procedures and the application and monitoring of good practice regarding contamination, microbiology and temperature control. This course is the perfect introduction for those progressing onto the industry recognised L3 Supervising Food Safety Award , a requirement for managerial and supervisory posts within the Catering Industry.

This course is free given that the following eligibility is met:

  • You live within the Greater Manchester area
  • You have lived in the UK/EU/EEA for the past 3 years now and/or have a settled status
  • Asylum Seekers must have been in the country for the past 6 months before they are eligible to do this course

Note: If you enrol on further study you may be asked to provide proof of income or benefit
