Foundation Degree Early Years Childhood Studies - Full Time
Course Description
This course prepares students for a range of careers in childcare at supervisory management level and can provide an appropriate pathway for gaining Early Years Teaching Status (EYTS). The course is run in partnership with the University of Bolton.
Applicants must have a Level 3 or higher qualification, full time applications need to be made through UCAS (see below). UCAS support is available for students already studying at Hopwood Hall College.

Fees: £6000 per year full-time (total course cost £12000 2 years full-time). £4000 per year part-time (total course costs £12000 3 years part-time).
There is no charge for a DBS for all students undertaking volunteer work placement.

tariff points which could include:
- 2 or more A Levels
- BTEC/Edexcel National Level 3
- Level 3 Diploma in Early Years Education and Care (Early Years Educator) or Level 3 Diploma in Childcare and Education (Early Years Educator)
- GCSE English and maths at Grade C/4 or above
Mature
students can apply with no formal qualifications but with a minimum of three
years relevant
industry experience. A formal literacy diagnostic and comprehension assessment
will be required to assess academic capability.
