Applying for Higher Education

There are different application methods depending on the type of course you wish to apply for. These are:

  • Full-time, undergraduate, resident in the UK or EU
  • Pre-degree, part-time, resident in the UK or EU

Note: The college is unable to accept applications from overseas students who need or have student immigration permission under Tier 4 (visa).

Full-time courses for UK/EU undergraduates

Please apply through UCAS (the Universities and Colleges Admissions Service) for September entry.

You can apply for up to 5 courses through UCAS at the same or different institutions. The application fee is £12 if you’re applying to just one course, or £23 for multiple courses and for late applications sent after 30 June.

You will need the following information to complete your UCAS application form:

  • Institution Code Name: HOPH
  • Provider Application Code/Institution Code: H54

Pre-degree and all part-time higher education courses

Applications for the following types of courses are made directly to Hopwood Hall College:

Pre-degree and further education courses (e.g. foundation stage, Access courses)

Applications for access courses are completed using the College online application form. To apply, find your course on our website then follow instructions in the 'how to apply' section.

Undergraduate courses (Part-time)

Applications for part-time undergraduate courses are completed using the College online application form. To apply, find your course on our website then follow the instructions on that page.
