Our outstanding sports science lab ensure you will learn and develop with the latest industry standard equipment, with many of our graduates going on to careers in sports science and the world of sports therapy and rehabilitation.

This course is taught at our Middleton campus, located in Middleton, Greater Manchester.

Qualification

EDEXCEL Level 3 National Extended Diploma in Sports and Exercise Science

Entry Requirements

5 GCSEs grade C/4 or above to include English, Mathematics and Science. Alternatively, the BTEC Level 3 90 credit Introductory Qualification, NVQ Level 2, or VRQ Level 2.

There is no specific work experience required or undertaken for this course however, you will obtain the skills and knowledge that you need in order to progress into a career in the sports industry.

Progression

Upon completion of this course, you have a number of options to choose from. If you wish to continue your studies, this course provides UCAS points in the range of 120-420, which can help with entry to higher education or provide enough on its own depending on the degree/course chosen and institution.
