The one year T-Level Transition Programme is for students who are not yet ready to start a T-Level but have the potential to progress onto one following a tailored preparation programme.
The Digital Transition programme is designed for students who have not studied a digital related subject before, such as computer science, and therefore feel that the digital T-level is not open to them. If that person is you, the transition programme is an ideal match for you.
Whether you are thinking of becoming a network engineer or an app developer, a website designer or a cyber security technician, the digital sector offers endless opportunities for an exciting career.
If you are concerned that your current digital skills are not sufficient enough to start a T-Level, choose the digital transition programme. The course offers a level 2 qualification, English and Maths for those yet to achieve a grade 4, industry relevant work experience and a tailored curriculum that will ensure you are ready and confident to succeed on a digital T level qualification.
This course is taught at our Middleton campus, located in Middleton, Greater Manchester.
Level 2 Digital Production, Design and Development
4 GCSEs grade D/3 or above to include English and Mathematics.
If you have not attained GCSE grades 4-9 in English and Maths, you will automatically be enrolled in classes to work towards these qualifications at an appropriate level to suit your needs.
You will study industry standard modules that will give you the skills and knowledge needed to progress onto the T-Level:
- Fundamentals of Computer Networking
- Fundamentals of Website Design
- Fundamentals of Programming
- Intro Cyber Security
- Develop Maths and English
This course comes with industry relevant work experience, tailored to your digital needs.
Upon completion of this course, you can progress onto:
- T-Level in Digital Production, Design and Development
- T-Level in Digital Support Services programme
