This FREE course is for anyone who wishes to learn the fundamentals of Coding and command line scripting.
There is no need for any previous knowledge of programming but there are some entry requirements, please see below for details.

Entry Requirements
There is no requirement to have any previous knowledge of programming.
Students must have a good understanding of Microsoft Windows and be able to use a keyboard and mouse or, if required, assistive technology.
The qualification requires students to complete a multiple-choice exam and so must have as a minimum a level 2 or above Maths qualification (GCSE grade C or 4, Functional Skill or Key skill) and Level 2 English qualification (GCSE grade C or 4, Functional Skill or Key skill).

This course is for students with the objective of enabling students, who complete the course, to understand the fundamentals of Computer coding.
Possible progression would be the Level 3 Access in Computing Course.
