If you want to develop the skills to enable you to work within the graphic design industry, this course is for you. You must have a passion for creative work, enjoy creating digital and traditional artwork and working on design projects.
The world of graphic design is incredibly exciting with many different job roles and career paths. Here at Hopwood Hall College, you will be encouraged to experiment with ideas and techniques both digital and traditional through personal design projects. You will work in a professional environment on Apple Mac computers and will be introduced to industry standard software.
UAL (University Arts London) Extended Certificate in Graphic Design
4 GCSEs grade D/3 or above to include English and Mathematics. All students are required to achieve GCSE grade C/4 in Maths and English. If the required grade is not reached there are opportunities to study these subjects at college alongside the course to help achieve it. This is a government requirement but also needed by many employers for any numbers of careers.
The Level 2 course is a one year study programme where you will learn essential skills needed to create graphic design projects.
