This part time adult course provides learners with the basic understanding of the health and social care and early years fields. Students will be given assignments in each unit which will cover the outcomes for that unit.
The course runs for 35 weeks (1 full academic year), 3.5 hours per week, on a Monday. The full course cost is £630.

There are no work experience placements on this course. Learners usually have part time employment within the relevant industry.
Progression
Upon completion of this course there are various pathways in either Health & Social Care or Early Years that the learner may chose from as a part time course. Courses to progress onto include either Teaching Assistant Level 2, Early Years Educator Level 2 or Health and Social Care Level 2.
