Do you want to educate young children and help prepare them for the opportunities ahead? Are you interested in becoming a primary school teacher or working in nurseries?
This is the new generation of Gold Standard qualifications as a technical alternative to A Levels. We offer the T Level in Education and Childcare with the specific occupational specialism in Early Years Educator. This is an exciting two-year course that has been designed with key employers in the sector to provide you with the knowledge and skills and behaviours needed to work within the Education and Childcare sectory.
You will develop a wide range of skills, knowledge and behaviours of the education sector from ages 0-19 and then in the second year, specialise in the age range 0-7 (Early Years Educator).
In addition, this course features a 45-day (315 hour) work placement and promises to be invaluable for anyone looking to get real-world industry experience.
*This course is taught at our Rochdale campus, located in Rochdale Town Centre. Greater Manchester.
QUALIFICATION
Level 3 Technical Qualification in Education and Childcare - Year 1
Entry Requirements
5 GCSEs at grade 4 and above including Maths and English, however English must be at grade 5 or above.

In addition to the core content, you will study a specialism in Early Years Education and Childcare.
Your core work will give you essential knowledge and skills relevant to any education-related occupation, including:

- Reflective practice
Work Experience
An industry placement will ensure you have the chance to put into practice the skills and knowledge you are studying in the classroom.
Employers of all sizes will placements for 750 hours alongside your class learning over the two years where you will complete an employer set project.

- Teaching Assistant
- Learning Mentor
You can also use this T-Level to do a related higher level apprenticeship or degree course.
