Are you ready to join the technical revolution that is T-Levels?

Here at Hopwood, you can study one of the brand-new Business and Administration T Level qualification or Transition Programmes. They have been developed in collaboration with employers, and combine theory, practical and classroom learning with a minimum 45-day industry placement. If you opt to take a T Level, you will spend 20% of your time on an industry placement and 80% in the classroom.

Opportunities in this sector are enormous, with 50,000 new jobs created in Manchester alone in the past 10 years. Whether you want to start your own business, lead a team or provide project support, a T Level in Business and Administration can give you the head start you need.

Entry Requirements

4 GCSEs at grade 4 or above to include Maths and English


If you have a brain for business and love getting stuck into the details of planning and management, then our Business Management and Administration T Level could be perfect for you. Equal to three A Levels, this course has been designed with our industry partners so you’ll be prepared to work in the Management and Administration sector.

You’ll be working with leading specialists and learning all you need for a career that can cover people and process management, business support services, financial processing and business marketing analysis skills.

You’ll cover topics including:

  • Quality Compliance
  • Change Management

You’ll enjoy scrutinising large organisational structures and their event management processes while learning how to project manage more effectively. We’ll help you to develop your leadership skills, financial management awareness and planning strategies needed for modern day business.

As part of the course, you’ll complete a work placement of a minimum of 315 hours.

Work Experience

As part of achieving the overall T-Level programme, students are required to complete a minimum of 315 hours industry placement. In order to demonstrate threshold competence in their chosen occupational specialism, the student will be observed during their industry placement.
