Course DescriptionAre you ready to join the technical revolution that is T-Levels?
At Hopwood, you can study one of the brand-new Engineering and Manufacturing T-Level qualifications or Transition Programmes. They have been developed in collaboration with employers, and combine theory, practical and classroom learning with a minimum 45-day industry placement. If you opt to take a T-Level, you will spend 20% of your time on an industry placement and 80% in the classroom.
Opportunities in this sector are increasing, with demand for technically minded problem solvers who are responsible for operating machinery, as well as developing and designing new processes. You’ll be learning in a fully simulated environment with industry standard equipment, which includes specialist, bespoke work areas.
4 GCSEs at grade 4 or above to include Maths and English
As part of achieving the overall T-Level programme, students are required to complete a minimum of 315 hours industry placement. In order to demonstrate threshold competence in their chosen occupational specialism, the student will be observed during their industry placement.
Upon successful completion, you’ll have the qualification and experience you need to progress either to, highly skilled employment, an apprenticeship or continue onto a university level degree or course related to the construction industry. All these options could potentially be sponsored by your Industry Placement employer.
Whichever path you choose to take, you’ll be developing a wide range of abilities and knowledge to help you succeed in several different career opportunities in industry.
