This Level 2 course is a brilliant way of honing your craft in terms from a beginner's perspective if you have no experience or require additional support in finding your feet in this background . However, most students choose to progress onto the Level 2 diploma (which in some circumstances an happen following term one). This will allow you the chance to further expand your skillset as you specialise in Dance or Acting.

Qualifications

UAL Level 2 Award in Performing Arts

Entry Requirements

  • 4 GCSEs grade 3 and above, preferably to include English Language and Maths
  • or a Level 1 qualification

Entrants who do not have a grade 4 or above in English Language and Maths will continue studying these at the college.

Details

You'll study a wide range of units which are designed to give you the perfect foundation for a career in Performing Arts.

  • Introduction to Production

Work Experience

There is no specific work experience required for this course. However, due to the strong physical and practical elements of the course you'll really develop your understanding of what it's like to operate in similar professional environments through your work at our Hopwood Theatre.

Progression

Upon completion of this course you'll have the option to progress onto the Level 2 Diploma in Performing Arts
