The Arts & Performing Arts
Artistic and cultural experiences enrich people's lives. The arts sector is huge, with the Arts Council England investing £1.1 billion of government money and an estimated £700 million from the National Lottery between 2015-2018 to help create art and culture experiences for everyone, everywhere.
Here at Hopwood Hall, we'll develop your passion for the arts and build on your exiting skills and talents. Our expert staff using our superb facilities and equipment will help you achieve your aspirations so you are able to pursue a career within the artistic and cultural sector or progress onto higher education.
Joining the Performing Arts courses will help improve your confidence to not only be yourself but anyone else too! This is a largely practical course that sees students take part in a number of shows throughout the year in our very own Hopwood Theatre and in the community. Later levels also see you take the helm and lead on your own performances, which are open to the public. There have been some great shows in the past and many more to come.
Art & Design and Fashion & Textiles will improve your creative and technical skills, improving your abilities to create your own masterpieces and also work to briefs. The End of Year show is a highlight for many and draws in friends, family and members of the public who are anxious to see new talent in the making.
