It will provide the knowledge and experience needed to open the door into skilled careers in management, business, business support roles, administration of Higher Education.

This course is taught at our Middleton campus, located in Middleton, Greater Manchester.

Entry Requirements

4 GCSEs grade C/4 or above to include English and Mathematics. BTEC Level 2, NVQ Level 2 or VRQ Level 2 qualifications are also accepted.

  • Project and Change Management

Therefore, you will develop an understanding of a broad range of issues relevant to the sector and get the chance to specialise in subjects that support your interests.

Work Experience

As part of your course, you will complete 45 days (315 hours) of industrial experience (work placement) over each year of study.

You are encouraged to source your own placement, which will need to be approved by the college.  We can also support you in sourcing your placement if you need us to do so.

This is an important and integral part of your course, which will help you to develop the employability and workplace skills to thrive in employment or higher education.   

Progression

The world of business, management and administration is varied and wide, and there are many opportunities for you on successful completion of this course. 

Many of our learners progress to employment, apprenticeships, higher apprenticeships or higher education to work towards degree level standard.
