Entry Requirements

GCSEs grade C/4 or above to include English and Mathematics. Alternatively, the BTEC Level 3 90 credit Introductory Qualification, NVQ Level 2, or VRQ Level 2.

Choosing this course will also give you the unique opportunity to gain additional qualifications alongside core BTEC study programme. These include:

  • A First Aid in Sport Award

  • Level 1 in Strength and Conditioning

  • 'Extended Project' (Independent Research Project to obtain additional UCAS points)

Work Experience

There is no specific work experience required or undertaken for this course however, you will obtain the skills and knowledge that you need in order to progress into a career in the sports industry.

Progression

Upon completion of this course, you have a number of options to choose from. If you wish to continue your studies, this course provides UCAS points in the range of 120-420, which can help with entry to higher education or provide enough on its own depending on the degree/course chosen and institution.
