Make-up Artistry - Level 2 Technical Certificate

Do you dream of working in the make-up industry? Explore of creative flair as you master the skills and techniques to be a great make-up artist.

Spend your days perfecting your craft in our state-of-the-art training rooms, then move onto real life clients in our Riverside Salon as you gain real experience working on live projects and client briefs as well as entering competitions. You'll get the opportunity to show your creativity and ability to work under pressure.

You'll gain a qualification that demonstrates your knowledge, creative skills and understanding of the industry. There is also a great opportunity to show your inter-personal skills and professionalism through your work in our own commercial Riverside Salon.

This course is taught at our Rochdale campus, located in Rochdale Town Centre, Greater Manchester.

Entry Requirements

4 GCSEs grade D/3 or above to include English and Maths.

Work Experience

You have the opportunity to take part in many local and national competitions and support our theatre productions throughout the year.

Progression

Following the completion of this course, you have a choice of possible progression routes such as the Diploma in Special Effects, Theatrical Make-up and Hair, further education or employment.

Possible careers following the completion of the course can also include employed or freelance make-up artist in theatre, film or fashion, teaching.
