What would you like to study?
Engineering (Electronics) - Level 2 Extended Certificate

Electronic devices are everywhere. Almost everyone reading this will have a mobile phone, a laptop, computer or electronic watches. There are many areas of electronic and electrical engineering that don’t get enough credit, imagine life without washing machines, fridge freezers or TV. Electronic devices save lives in hospitals and allow ever more rapid and accurate diagnosis of all types of conditions.

There has never been a technological explosion that can match electronics in both the number of persons who use it and in the diverse range of devices available. As technology inevitably advances, we will all be wanting and needing products that are smarter and more efficient. The design, development and manufacture of electronic devices and its technologies is and continues to explode.

Our electronics department is very well equipped with new modern equipment and devices arriving every year. If you are interested in the Arduino, Raspberry Pi, PLC’s, Analog and digital electronics, instrumentation and of course how it all works then we have the courses for you.

This course is taught at our Middleton campus, located in Middleton, Greater Manchester.
