This course is delivered on a Flexible Learning basis over a twelve-week period. You will be assigned an assessor who will be able to provide additional help and support if required but all learning will be completed and submitted remotely through an on-line learning platform. Entry Requirements
There are no specific prior learning requirements for this qualification. It will be beneficial if you have Level 1 English and feel competent with using IT.
Eligibility:
- You must currently live in England
- You must have been resident in the UK/EU for 3+ years, for purposes other than study
- You must be over the age of 19
- You must not be on an apprenticeship
Details
On this course, you will cover the fundamental principles of cleaning. This course is made up of four units:
- Knowledge of generic and specialist cleaning principles
- Awareness of practical techniques
- How to interact with customers
- Health and Safety requirements
Work Experience
As this qualification is knowledge only, you do not need to be working or undertaking practical placements to take this qualification. However, if a work placement is a required for your course, the College will support you in completing a DBS application.

Learners who achieve this qualification could progress to:
