This course is delivered on a Flexible Learning basis. This means that your learning will be done away from your assessor through an on-line learning platform. Entry Requirements

There are no specific prior learning requirements for this qualification. It will beneficial is the learner has L2 English and feel competent with using IT.

Details

This course is made up of three units:

  • Exploring Mental Health
  • Understand how to support individuals with mental ill health
  • Understand a mentally healthy environment

Duration:

The Guided Learning Hours for this qualification are 120 hours. This is an estimate of the number of hours a learner will reasonably be likely to spend in preparation, study or assessment, which takes place as directed by, but not under the immediate guidance or supervision of a Tutor. This will vary depending on the speed of the learner, but it is expected most learners will complete within the allocated 12 weeks.

Eligibility criteria for Flexible Learning courses:

  • You must live in Greater Manchester
  • Have lived in the UK for 3 years or more
  • Be age 19 or above as of 31st August 2024
Work Experience

As this qualification is knowledge only, you do not need to be working or undertaking practical placements to take this qualification.

Progression

On completion of this qualification, you may enter the workforce at this level or continue to increase your knowledge and understanding by progressing to an appropriate Level 3 qualification.
